Santa Fund/Holiday Adopt-a-Family Program

Please note that registration to receive Holiday Assistance for 2015 is now closed. The Front Door Agency received applications to assist 968 children this year. Our elves are busy finding generous people in the community to provide  a wonderful holiday to all of these families. Here’s how you can help:

“Adopt” a Family for the Holidays or Become a Shopper

You can help us to bring holiday joy, toys and warm clothing to children in need in Greater Nashua this holiday season. We still have between 400-500 children to be “adopted.”  If you sign up, you will be given a wish list and clothing sizes for each child. Volunteers are also needed to shop for items using donated gift cards. To sign up or learn more, please contact Nancy at

The Telegraph Santa Fund/Holiday Program Continues Because of You

Thank you to all of those in the community who gave so generously to our Holiday Program in 2014. With your help, we were able to provide toys and warm clothing to 1,012 children in need. Special thanks to BAE, Right Network, Church of the Good Shepherd and many other individuals, organizations and businesses for your generosity!

Since our inception, we have offered a program to help ensure smiles to the children of our community on Christmas morning.  Santa lives in each and every one of us, and through this program the true meaning of the Christmas spirit becomes apparent.

In 1994, the Front Door Agency joined with the Telegraph to ensure the Santa Fund resources are allocated to those most in need.  Through this partnership we have provided gifts, food, toys and clothing to nearly 1,100 children each and every year.

Local businesses, civic groups, individuals and religious organizations all participate in adopting children for the holidays.  It is estimated that through the generosity of the community we pass through over $100,000 in in-kind contributions.

Registrations for assistance are held in late October and early November.
