Mission and Vision
We’re on a mission to end homelessness in Greater Nashua.
The Front Door Agency, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization that invests in New Hampshire individuals and families as they transition from crisis to self-sufficiency by providing a hand-up opportunity to those at risk of homelessness. Through our four core programs, we invest in those who need assistance with basic needs by providing direction and educational opportunities as they transition from crisis to sustainable independence.
The Front Door Agency’s mission is to provide a holistic approach to break the cycle of poverty by assisting individuals and families to stabilize, transform, and become empowered to ultimately achieve sustainable independence. We accomplish this by offering an integrated service delivery approach that fosters education and addresses the obstacles that hinder acquiring and maintaining affordable housing and the attainment of self-sufficiency.
To ensure all individuals and families in Southern NH experiencing a personal crisis are treated with dignity and respect as we help them stabilize, transform, and become self-sufficient.
We prioritize understanding the whole person in our engagements with each other and those we serve as we provide the necessary support to enable all individuals to build sustainable independence.

Founded as The Nashua Pastoral Care Center in 1987, the Front Door Agency has served Greater Nashua for more than 35 years.
