The Front Door Agency Seeks Part-Time Custodian/General Maintenance

Reporting to Maintenance Director, the Custodian/General Maintenance personnel will be a key member of the Agency’s maintenance team in helping to advance its mission by ensuring the safety and cleanliness of Agency owned properties.   Key responsibilities will include daily/weekly cleaning the common areas of three properties located in Nashua; assisting with apartment turnovers; and providing general light maintenance support to the Maintenance Director.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to work on his/her feet for extended periods of time; be able to lift up to 70 lbs; have general knowledge of performing maintenance repairs such as light plumbing, painting, changing fixtures, etc.; and have a passion for the mission of the Front Door Agency.  The ideal candidate will have the ability to work on several projects at one time, and be able to take initiative and direction. Strong verbal and communication skills and a high degree of professionalism in dealing with a diverse group of people are required. Experience working in non-profit organizations is a plus.

We will consider both full-time or part-time for the right candidate.

Standard Hours are flexible but between the hours of 7:30am-4:30pm M-F. Saturday mornings if preferred can be considered.

Salary commensurate with experience and range is $18-$25/hour.

Housing Administrator

The Front Door Agency Seeks Full-Time Housing Administrator

We are seeking an organized, creative and high energy Housing Administrator to oversee the Agency’s portfolio of income-restricted rental housing. In this role, the incumbent will work with internal and external partners to collect and review documentation necessary to verify tenant eligibility to reside in FDA residential housing. This dynamic position requires the ability to anticipate needs, think critically, and offer solutions to problems with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. The Housing Administrator will be a key member of the Agency’s administrative and direct service team. The key responsibilities include: interviewing prospective tenants, reviewing tenant eligibility, developing leases and addendums, developing marketing plans, maintaining accurate wait lists, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, originate and process tenant notices to include demands for rent, evictions, collection of rental payments, ensuring housing compliance, ensuring the fiscal and operational elements of the housing programs are sound.

This is a full-time salaried in-office position between 35-40 hrs/wk. Typical hours between 8am and 7pm.

Pay: $53,000.00 – $62,000.00 per year
