Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are an important part of the day-to-day operations of the Front Door Agency. We often need volunteers to assist us with a variety of ongoing activities and special events. If you have some spare time and would like to make a difference, please contact us today! For more information, contact Destiney Davis or call (603)816-0283.

Areas of general need include:

Maintenance

  • Effectuer des vidages
  • Help transport furniture
  • Minor repairs
  • Painting
  • Set up rooms for new families

Office Support

  • Assisting with bulk mailings
  • Assist with special administrative projects
  • Help cover our Reception Desk

Events, Drives, and Agency Involvement

  • Become a Friend of the Front Door to help coordinate donations including food, new clothing, school supplies, gift cards toys or furniture, activities for women and children along with supporting tasks for the Transformational Program and Mary’s House.
  • Get involved with fundraising events
  • Become a Board of Director member (FDA is grateful to currently have two BAE Board members)
  • Hold a donation drive or create welcome baskets for families
  • Become a financial coach / teach a budgeting class
  • Help a child celebrate their birthday
  • Project Joy:  adopt a child/family for holiday gifts.  Assist in collection and distribution of gifts.
  • Prepare a group meal
