Rapid Rehousing

The Front Door Agency offers a Rapid Rehousing Program to a select number of applicants each year. The program — funded by a federal grant — is specifically for people on the verge of homelessness or those who are already homeless. The goal is to quickly stabilize an individual or family in affordable housing and then to provide intensive six-month case management and support so the individual or family can remain financially stable and in their home. This program provides the following benefits to approved applicants:

• Assistance in locating affordable housing in the Greater Nashua, NH area
• Financial assistance for moving expenses, security deposit or first month’s rent
• Intensive six-month case management to ensure the family is working on financial improvement goals in order to avoid future homelessness.
